Mini-game Dreams: Part 1
There was only static when I awoke in this dream space. Static that reminded me of a video game from the late 1980’s. It was only a second before the static stopped and I found myself looking through the eyes of Freddy Fazbear, but everything looked almost pixelated. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.
I decided on walking around, so I walked to my right and found a room with two long dining tables. I think I am in an 8-bit pizzeria. There were mice everywhere, but I tried my best to ignore them. I wasn’t afraid of mice, it's just I don’t like them as much as I should. I took a left and found myself in a room that had a curtain and another party table as I had dubbed them. The words “follow me.” appeared in front of me, but I didn’t know what that meant. How can I follow someone if I don’t know where they are and who to follow?
I continued into a hallway that had boxes on one end and the words “BBdblclick” on the other wall. Again, I was clueless as to what they were saying, so I ignored it and continued down the hallway. The next room I ventured in didn’t have anything new. I took a left and found myself in what appeared to be an office. It had a desk with some papers and a fan. It looked very similar to the office setup that I had back at my new job, but when I tried to see what was on the papers, they were blank. Bored, I continued walking and found myself with a split path. I took the left path and found myself feeling uneasy.
Through another long hallway and through a room that had more party tables, I arrived back at another party table room and I took a right, leading me to a room with a wooden barred room. This is where my uneasy feeling from before really heightened. I wanted to go straight, but some forcefield was keeping me in the room. I looked back at the words “follow me.” only to find it to now say “ERR” in red. I tried to get my way to the room, but no matter how hard I pushed or tried, the force would not let me. Frustrated, I decided that I would try another route, but when I was around the center of the room when a purple blur rushed towards me. I tried to fend off the color, but the man was too strong for me. Before I could black out of this dreamscape, I took one look at the man and found that 1. He was all purple, and 2. He was smiling as if he pitied me. He pitied me!
“No harsh feelings.”
